Isn't Jayden just the cutest thing you've ever seen! She's imitating me with the glasses (which are upside down). In the other two with her leg on the pillow she's copying PaPa when he hurt his knee and had to stay off it. She's even to the hands behind the head which he does when relaxing. We can't believe how much she's growing up and starting to talk like crazy.
We had a pretty quiet New Year's Eve. We were all tired so we went to bed around 10:30. I think Danielle may have gotten back up, but not me. I figure the New Year is going to come whether I'm awake or not, so I might as well be rested and ready for the new day and year.
New Year's Day was actually spent in the ER with Brent. His knee has been bothering he A LOT and was really bad that day. The doctor there said it looked like there was a piece of calcium that had broken loose and was starting to tear his tendon and to see an orthopedic surgeon. So we went to see a doctor who has done a couple of Brent's surgeries (he's had about nine) and without seeing the x-rays (for some reason they wouldn't come up on his computer) he said he just think's it's tendonitis and for Brent to take Naproxen for about two months and see how it goes. WHATEVER!!! We were a little upset when we left there. We've talked about getting a second opinion since we've been through this a few times, but haven't totally decided what to do. Frustrating. The Naproxen helps, but does it solve the problem. GGGRRRR!!!
We haven't heard anything from Kyle in quite a while. That makes me nervous. Brent says that just means he's busy. Well, a letter or email would sure help me feel better. When I got home from work yesterday, I got a phone call from Kyles' companion's mom. His family lives in Spanish Fork. His mom was also a little concerned since she hadn't heard anything either. See, mom's think alike. Anyway, they have invited us to FHE on Monday so we can get to know them a little. I'm excited for that. Sherry (his ccompanion's mom) said that her son had said that Kyle is a hard worker and eager to get out and get things done. Makes me feel very glad to hear things like that.
